I’m a Kerry based artist from the southwest of Ireland and I have developed my style of painting over the years exploring more abstract ways to paint. I paint to bring beauty and color into other people’s homes. I have always lived in the countryside and flowers and hedgerows are an integral part of that. Seduced by color, I paint exclusively in oil and my repertoire consists of abstract flowers and landscape inspired by hedgerows and trees and nature from around the countryside where I live.

My paintings explore abstract art through color. Also I love abstract colorful flower paintings in a kitchen because I think it brings the outside in. I also paint seascapes as i live on the southwest coast of Ireland not far from the Atlantic Ocean which can be wild and windy throughout the seasons and the waves rolling in off the Atlantic can be dramatic and big. The colors of the ocean change with the weather so the greens and blues of the sea can be both beautiful and wild and its surprisingly calming to just sit and watch those waves roll in so loud and big.
